Results & Closure

The results are here. And I managed to pass all exams and have enough marks to get into my college of choice. Thanks to everyone who has taken their time to post comments on this blog. I’ve had interesting discussions with some of you, and got a lot of study tips. Blogging is pretty fun, seeing someone else read what I post and being able to have a conversation with them is interesting. This was Alex’s No Being Lazy Blog. Have a nice day.

Exams, Day 3

At last, freedom has been attained. English was alright, could’ve been better, but it could’ve been worse. Biology was amazing, the exam wasn’t too hard and I like the subject so I expect good results. I posted the addendums I owed you, go check them out if you want to. Well, this is the second to last update. In a few weeks, when I get the exam results, I’ll post the final update.

Exams, Day 2

Hey! The second day of exams is over, I’m almost free from this torture. As I mentioned yesterday, today I had Chemistry and Spanish exams, they were unremarkably easy. Chemistry felt like I had already solved the exercises the exam tested me with. I guess it makes sense, there’s a limited number of exercises you can create and I solved a lot of them to prepare. Spanish was a bit harder, since I much prefer STEM courses rather than Humanities, but I am a native speaker, so passing the exam is to be expected. Tomorrow is the last day (thank God), just English and Biology left.

Exams, Day 1

At first, I didn’t plan on making this post, but some people had asked me for an update after my exams are gone, so I decided to do it. For the first day of exams, I had to take Physics and History. The exams went well, Physics was piece of cake, understandable considering how much I studied, but History was a pain, literally, my wrist still hurts from taking the exam (to be fair it was like 20 minutes ago, but that’s still a long time to be in pain!), but besides that I think I did alright. I won’t be sure until I get the results, though. Well, I better go back to study for some last-minute cramming, tomorrow I have Spanish and Chemistry. I’ll update you after the exams!

Final Progress Update

Hey! It’s the last progress update, exams are 8 days away and I’m done studying all the subjects. I will use those 8 days to brush up on every subject, but, besides that, studying is over. Eleventh Progress Update

Hello, I’m back with the last progress update of May. And the second to last progress update in general. I finished studying Chemistry and also studied a bit of Biology. With the exams so close, I’m really feeling the pressure. I am going to delay the addendums until after the exams are over, hopefully those who read them don’t mind. Subject Spanish English Spanish History Physics Biology Chemistry Unit DON’T I 1875-1931 Gravitational Field Genetics Thermo-dynamics Unit KNOW LITERALLY 1931-1936 Electric Field Evolution Acid-base reactions Unit Nada by Carmen Laforet DON’T Spanish Civil War Magnetic Field Molecular Biology Redox Reactions Unit La Fundación by Carlos Ruiz Zafón KNOW ...

Addendum Redox Reactions

Redox reactions are more chemistry focused than the previous units, there’s no math here, just chemical reactions, which makes it way nicer. Overall score, 8 out of 10.

Addendum Acid-Base Reactions

Just like Thermodynamics, this unit is just a matter of understanding chemical reactions and memorizing a few formulae. At least we get to go to the lab to do some experiments related to pH, that was fun. Overall rating, 7 out of 10.

Tenth Progress Update

Hello. I have been hard at work to finish studying. Chemistry is almost done, and I’m so tired. Subject Spanish English Spanish History Physics Biology Chemistry Unit DON’T I 1875-1931 Gravitational Field Genetics Thermo-dynamics Unit KNOW LITERALLY 1931-1936 Electric Field Evolution Acid-base reactions Unit Nada by Carmen Laforet DON’T Spanish Civil War Magnetic Field Molecular Biology Redox Reactions Unit La Fundación by Carlos Ruiz Zafón KNOW 1939-1986 Introduction to quantum physics Metabolism Atomic structure and bond   I’ll keep my opinions on the units for the addendum but, honestly, it was pretty boring, thankfully it’s done ...

Addendum Quantum Physics

This unit was interesting even if it was kept at a low level. I don’t know what to say about it, it was mostly theoretical, so it was all about memorizing. But at least it was fun. It was mostly about relativity and the wave function and stuff. Overall a 7 out of 10.

Ninth Progress Update

Hello, there was no update last week because I fell ill. I got better last Wednesday but there was no point in writing a post just to say that I was in bed all week because I fell ill, so I just waited for the normal release schedule. Regarding what I said last week (it was 2 weeks ago but I’m not fixing it because I like pointlessly long annotations). I kept my word and finished Physics.
